FAQs

Are chiropody services covered by OHIP?

Chiropody is not covered by OHIP, but it may be covered by your extended health insurance plans.

Do you need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment?

A doctor’s referral is not required to book an appointment. You can book a time and day that works best for you. We will try to accommodate to the best that we can.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

You will be expected to fill in an intake form outlining your health problems, family history and any medication you’re taking. Your feet will then be assessed and you can address any problems you are experiencing. Treatment will be provided to you accordingly with your consent. If you plan on making custom made orthotics, please bring the shoes you plan on wearing them in and any previously worn orthotics.
